Is your thermometer not working or defective/broken?
You can test your thermometer to see if it is defective. Dismantle the thermometer from the dome (there is a nut on the inside that you can unscrew). Then place the thermometer in a pot of boiling water. The thermometer should then read 100 degrees. If not, you can adjust the pointer. This can be done with a screwdriver. On the back of the thermometer, you will find a screw that you can adjust. Sometimes you have to repeat this several times, as when you remove the thermometer from the water, the temperature drops. If this does not work, your thermometer is unfortunately defective. In this case, you can submit this damage to us, provided it is covered by warranty. If not, we can also offer a new one for a fee.
